SMI lobbying scandal, Walter: What the US embassy should do
Halit Valteri

While considering President Ilir Meta as a "symbol of corruption", the former opposition MP, Halit Valteri, announced two more lawsuits for the SMI lobbying file.

Walteri told Report Tv that the SMI has declared only 15 thousand dollars for the trip to the US, but the truth is different. He said that this scandal, originally published by the Austrian media, is just the tip of the iceberg.

Walter asked the US embassy to make a request to the lobbying companies, where the money came from and there he will find out the truth.

"A symbol of corruption in the country, it blackmails and forces people to seek asylum, fairies. They are money used for photographs, but for the unrestrained life, Albanians are used, not only by Meta, but also by the political class. Only 15 thousand dollars are declared, they do not have plane tickets, if you go to America for 10 people and stay in a hotel, it is not enough. (...). Make a request to the US embassy, to the companies, where did this money come from and the truth comes out! That's just the tip of the iceberg, a million dollars in lobbying. SPAK where to ask about Meta, to ask about Basha, Rama, Berisha ", said Valteri.

He said that if Meta turns out to be innocent in this story, then he will apologize publicly to the head of state, adding that he is ready to go to testify at the SPAK, and make any information available.

"I believe that they will call me for this information, I will state everything that justice asks me. Meta will not sue the Austrian media and if he wins, I will apologize to Meta and I will not deal with this matter. "That media is not a portal, 2 governments have fallen from that newspaper", said Valteri.

In the end, beyond the file of the lobbying scandal, Balteri also stopped for his "fate", where he added that he will soon become a deputy in the Albanian Parliament.

"I believe that I will return to the Albanian Parliament very soon and I will do my job and not be a puppet and mannequin, in other elections the system will be different, the counting will be electronic, with completely open lists", concluded the former MP.
