Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media this Tuesday, stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama hid his participation in the global summit in Spain.

According to Berisha, the prime minister kept his country's participation in the global summit, which was attended by a certain number of heads of state or prime ministers, a secret from the citizens of his country.

"What can be called, what name can be given to a prime minister, who flies several thousand kilometers from his country to participate in an international summit titled the Global Summit for Democracy in Barcelona and deceives his citizens, tells them that I was on a visit to Spain, to Pedro Sanchez, and does not say a single word, keeps secret from the citizens of his country the participation in the global summit where a certain number of heads of state or prime ministers were, from a series of countries in Latin America, Africa and other parts of the globe.

"This summit, the truth is, had an anti-American mantra, but it was not pro-European. No, it was not a pro-European summit. Lastly, how can you hide participation in such a summit? What are the reasons for hiding it? You participated. You are on the panel. You are in the photo. Who are you hiding this from?
