Opposition protest/ DP denounces Minister Lamallari, Hita and the entire Police leadership chain

After the April 7 protest, the Democratic Party filed criminal charges against the Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari, and the entire leadership chain of the State Police, headed by Skënder Hita.

The report was filed for the criminal offenses of "Other intentional damage", "Unlawful deprivation of liberty", "Forgery of documents", "Strikes due to duty", "Abuse of duty", "Committing arbitrary actions", "Failing to take measures to end the illegal situation", "Obstruction in the exercise of the right to express oneself, assemble or demonstrate", "Forcible obstruction of the activity of political parties", "Violation of the rules on poisonous substances", "False report", "False statements before a judicial police officer", in collaboration, provided for by articles 25, 28, 90, 110, 186, 237, 248, 250, 251, 261, 269, 281, 305 and 305/b of the Criminal Code.

4. Citizen Elton Alushi, acting Director of the Tirana Local Police Directorate.
5. Citizen Artur Prifti, acting Commander of the Rapid Intervention Forces.
6. Citizen Altin Tabaku, acting Deputy Commander of the Rapid Intervention Forces.
7. Citizen Bajram Baçi, acting Head of the Rapid Intervention Forces Unit.
8. Citizen Navjol Papuli, acting Head of the Rapid Intervention Forces Unit.
9. Citizen Dashamir Bendo, acting chief of the Special Operational Forces.
10. Judicial Police officers of Police Commissariats No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6. Tirana who have carried out illegal arrests.
11. Other employees of the State Police, unidentified by us.
