Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met today with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during the summit of the Berlin Process that is being held in Tirana for the first time.

Meanwhile, in a press conference, German Chancellor Scholz has expressed that he condemns the attack on the police in the North of Kosovo.

Scholz said that the authorities in Kosovo are investigating the attack, so the Serbian authorities should also offer their cooperation.

Chancellor Scholz said that it is important that the problems of the Western Balkan countries be solved before their integration into the European Union is possible.

"We must condemn the attack on the police in the North of Kosovo, this is something we must not accept. There should be a full investigation that will be done by the Kosovo authorities and it is very important that the Serbian authorities cooperate. This will work if EU countries do not look to the past but to the future.

All the problems must be solved before you integrate into the EU, you can't take the problems there with you. We appreciate all the reforms you have received", declared Scholz.
