The leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha has traveled to Azerbaijan, in the first visit after being elected leader of the Democratic Party. He is participating in the IX Global Forum in Baku, where incumbent President Ilir Meta is.

Berisha says that this forum is a special opportunity to express the views of the Democratic Party on developments in the country, region and Europe! Participation in the IX Global Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan

Dear friends,
I greet you from Baku where I came invited by the board of directors of the IX Global Forum to participate in the work of this Forum which this year has as its agenda: 'Challenges of the world order'

The forum is organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center. Dozens of Presidents, Prime Ministers, Foreign Ministers and hundreds of political figures from Europe and all other continents take part in the Forum.
The forum was opened by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

"This forum is a special opportunity to present to my friends, personalities present, the public, and the media the views of the Democratic Party on developments in the country, in the region and in Europe", writes Berisha.
