Prime Minister Edi Rama said that today the name of Albania is called with honor because from a synonym for evil it has become a synonym for nature and the hospitality of people.

"It is undoubtedly and the embodiment of the conviction that the diaspora is not on the periphery of national life, but at its center. Albania today is no longer the country that asks the diaspora for remembrance and monetary indulgence."

This country is a transformation site that invites the diaspora to participate in investments, innovation, academic life, in building the future of Albania. As in every site, in Albania's site, 2030 in the EU there is dust, dirt, noise, but it is enough to look back to the time when we started thinking about the first summit, to take courage, inspiration and continue the colossal work.

It was the beginning of an interrupted conversation between Albania and its children beyond the sea and the mountains. Today we are in the phase of its construction that has been the axis of centuries-old talks, the connection with that side of the world where the plantain is born from the west.

At the first summit, the demand was the right to vote from the homeland and at the second and third. It was a fundamental demand to be not only an emotional but also an active part of decision-making. You come here after having exercised that right. From a claimed right to an exercised right.

"Back then, many of you were Albanians who often had to face prejudices about the name of the country, today we are proud everywhere and whenever the name of our country is called to attention because the name of Albania has undergone a profound transformation. From a synonym for evil, Albania is synonymous with the sea, the sun, nature and the hospitality of the people," said Rama.
