"It was a pleasure to work with Orban" - Rama reacts to the Hungarian elections: Peter Magyar, impressive victory

Prime Minister Edi Rama today congratulated Peter Magyar on his victory in the parliamentary elections held on Sunday in Hungary, describing it as the beginning of a new chapter for the country.

Rama says he looks forward to collaborating with the new prime minister to advance relations between the two countries.

"Warm congratulations to Peter Magyar on his truly impressive victory. I wish the new Prime Minister of Hungary every success in his great effort to open a new chapter for his country and I look forward to working together to bring our two countries even closer," Rama wrote.

In the same reaction, Rama also focused on the relationship with former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, for whom he expressed appreciation.

"It has been a pleasure to work with Prime Minister Orban and to see Albania and Hungary grow closer and closer. I wish my friend Viktor all the best in this new chapter of his life," Rama emphasizes.
