The leader of the Democratic Party,  Sali Berisha , in his speech to journalists outside the Parliament, called on Albanians to participate in the May 12 protest in front of the Parliament.

He stated that the goal of the protest will be the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, while as for the time of the protest, it remains to be decided by the structures.

" Albanians should gather on March 12 for the resignation of Edi Rama, every protest will have this objective. I invite Albanians to continue our battle for his removal, because it is the season of overthrowing dictatorships and dictators, but here in Albania we will do it ourselves ," he said .
