The head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has rejected Gazment Bardhi's claims that the majority is trying to exceed the deadlines regarding the report issued by the Mandates Council regarding the Belinda Balluku issue.

Balla: Regarding the lies that were told in the hall, our position was clear at the meeting of the Mandates Council, and at the end of the meeting we communicated how the Assembly's regulations clarify it. There were 2 positions in the Council and this is clear. The Regulations state that at the end of the review, the Council drafts a report within 2 weeks, we are within the deadlines. We are a serious parliamentary group where decisions are not made by the chairman, but by collegial decisions. On February 23, I communicated publicly that as soon as the recommendation is submitted by all 5 deputies, we will respect the 2-week deadline.

The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, requested the inclusion in the Agenda of the report issued by the Mandates Council, regarding SPAK's request for the lifting of immunity, which paves the way for the arrest of Belinda Balluku.

Bardhi stated that it is an obligation for the report to be addressed in the first session, while accusing the majority of playing with deadlines by dragging out the issue until the deadline expires and SPAK's request is considered rejected.
