Why is it impossible to challenge Sali Berisha in the DP?

As soon as Mereme Sela's candidacy for the leadership of the Democratic Party was made public, left and right-wing analysts called it ridiculous.

This, since it was about a character that until yesterday, no one had heard of.

At least, for involvement in politics.

The DP apparently understood the gaffe and the boomerang effect that her candidacy caused and today they withdrew her.

But the noise that has been made these past 24 hours, initially about her candidacy and then why they were not allowed to run against Berisha, Salianji, Kokalari or a lawyer with the surname Balliu, is meaningless.

Because that would be the competition against Sali Berisha.

As long as he is in the Democratic Party, no one can challenge him.

When Lulzim Basha, who had the party, the MPs, and everything else with him, couldn't do it, no one else can.

The fact is that the DP identifies with Sali Berisha and has linked its fate with him.

It also has economic and media power, as was seen in the battle against Lulzim Basha.

And those in the DP know this very well and therefore do not dare to challenge it.

Those who do it are insignificant figures who want to be factored into the media.

There's no question of a race in the Democratic Party.

It never actually happened!
