Prime Minister Edi Rama is conducting an official visit to Athens, where important meetings are expected.

Rama arrived in Athens and, continuing his program, together with his wife Linda Rama will have dinner with the American ambassador at the latter's residence in Athens.

There is a strong friendly relationship between Rama and Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle. In the past, Mr. Rama and the American Ambassador to Greece have exchanged reciprocal visits in Athens and Tirana.

Prime Minister Rama will pay a working visit to Greece, at the invitation of the Delphi Economic Forum (April 21-23), a high-level international platform that annually brings together political leaders, business representatives, academics and experts from around the world.

The forum will discuss key global challenges, foster international dialogue, exchange ideas, and contribute to the design of policies that promote sustainable development and regional and global cooperation.

Prime Minister Rama will hold a meeting with his counterpart, the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with a focus on strengthening bilateral relations, deepening economic cooperation and the progress of joint work on the new strategic partnership document between the two countries, to which the teams of foreign ministers of both countries are committed.

During the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC) and the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations SA will be signed in a special ceremony.
