The Extraordinary Congress of the Socialist Party, which was scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 4, has been postponed to the beginning of December.

The news was learned at today's meeting of the parliamentary group, which was chaired by Prime Minister Edi Rama himself.

Deputy Blendi Klosi stated that the postponement was made to present the platform to the socialists and to give them the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the changes in the country.

Klosi said that the platform will be presented to the socialists through the tour that will be held by Prime Minister Edi Rama in Albania.

While the head of the Socialist Party, Prime Minister Edi Rama has expressed, among other things, in the meeting that the focus of the socialists during this period should be on the draft budget of 2024 that was approved only a few days ago.
