The disappearance of Ilir Meta in one of the weeks when the political scene of Tirana is hotter than ever due to the corruption investigation of Sali Berisha, raised many speculations.  

His absence has been interpreted by analysts and some media as a deliberate departure, since his distancing from public appearances coincided at a time when Sali Berisha was declared a person under investigation and his son-in-law was left in prison for the privatization of the former Partizani Club.

Ilir Meta was photographed today by the paparazzi of 'Panorama' in Tirana walking in the New Market area.

Meta was seen alone, while walking in the center of Tirana. Afterwards, he was seen drinking coffee in a bar near the Air Albania stadium.

It is learned that Ilir Meta has been abroad for several days, while he returned to Tirana on Friday.
