Democratic Party Deputy Leader Kreshnik Çollaku, in a statement to the media, reacted to the statements of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who labeled German Bundestag MP and German CDU spokesperson for European affairs, Gunter Krischbaum, liar and amoral.

In his statement, Çollaku stresses that Berisha has attacked the friend of the Democratic Party and Albanians.

Gunter Krischbaum is a friend of the DP and Albanians. Everyone has followed politics, the long and hard opposition of the Democratic Party in these years, can claim that in every difficult moment, in every difficult situation Gunter Krischbaum and the German CDU have been on the side of the Democratic Party, supported it, been a strong wing and definitely been vocal and Gunter Krischbaum more than others in denouncing the affairs, "The Edi Rami regime," he said.
