From journey to journey: Rama departs for Germany

Prime Minister Rama will travel to Germany on May 13 and 14 as part of the group of honorary guests of the prestigious Charlemagne Prize ceremony.

He will pay a visit to Aachen, Germany, to attend the traditional ceremony for the awarding of the Charlemagne Prize.

This award is considered one of the most important European honors since 1950, for individuals and institutions with outstanding contributions to the unification and progress of Europe.

This year, the 2026 Charlemagne Prize is awarded to former President of the European Central Bank and former Prime Minister of Italy, Professor Mario Draghi, in recognition of his crucial role in maintaining the stability of the European Monetary Union.
