Monika Kryemadhi, invited to the show "This Week" on News24, commented on the current situation of the opposition in Albania, also giving advice to the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

Kryemadhi emphasized that the opposition needs "heart" and true commitment to citizens, criticizing politicians who, according to her, think more about profits than about political change.

"The opposition wants heart. If the opposition thinks about how to get construction permits, how to get tenders, how to take Sali Berisha's place, then the opposition will never come to power," said Kryemadhi.

She added that Berisha should avoid the mistakes that, according to her, she and Ilir Meta have made, by isolating themselves in the "circle of friends."

"Berisha, in my opinion, should step outside the circle. He should not make the mistake of Ilir Meta and me, who isolated ourselves in the circle of our friends. The opposition should step outside the circle of friends," the former MP emphasized.

Kryemadhi also criticized the passivity of some opposition figures, emphasizing that support for Berisha in difficult moments was limited.

"Friends use you: when they produce power, they give their lives for you, but when Berisha was under house arrest, only 50 people gathered under his window. Those who don't go out into the field, give a statement on television and do nothing," she declared.

In conclusion, Kryemadhi called on Berisha to review the circle of collaborators and analyze the lists of candidates selected in the last elections.
