Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Klodiana Spahiu, meets Albanian language

The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Klodiana Spahiu, met in the United Kingdom with representatives of the "Ardhmëria" Association, as well as teachers who contribute voluntarily to the supplementary teaching of the Albanian language for Albanian children.

" It is important to also emphasize the growing role of the Government of Albania, which, through the National Diaspora Strategy, has established support for the preservation and spread of the Albanian language in the diaspora as a national priority ," the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament emphasized in her speech, while expressing deep gratitude for the teachers, whom she described as "missionaries of knowledge and national identity."

She also presented a summary of the measures and policies that the Albanian government has undertaken and plans to undertake to support the teaching of the Albanian language in the diaspora.

" Let us continue to support this common mission, so that our children, wherever they are, can speak Albanian with pride and feel themselves an inseparable part of the Albanian nation ," Spahiu underlined.

The vice president also informed those present about initiatives to improve working conditions and increase institutional support for this important sector.

During the discussions, one of the main issues raised was the recognition of the professional experience of teachers and the certification of students attending Albanian language classes in London and other cities in England.
