Former Minister of Finance, Arben Malaj , has reacted after the clashes recorded the day before at the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, where Prime Minister Edi Rama was involved in a strong debate with former Minister Elisa Spiropali , asking the latter to leave the meeting.

Through a post on social networks, Malaj has brought to attention a similar episode that occurred years ago within the Socialists, where the protagonists were himself and the Socialist leader Rama.

While criticizing the latter's approach to leading the party, the former minister states that efforts to control internal debate and exclude critics have been present since Rama's first steps in leading the Socialists.

"Rama has always wanted to exclude those who oppose him. The problem lies with all the others who remain silent and do not oppose Rama's behavior as the village aga," Malaj writes.

Meanwhile, he has subsequently raised concerns about the lack of reaction from other party members, emphasizing that silence in the face of these situations only strengthens this way of leadership.

Arben Malaj's reaction:

As soon as Rama came to the head of the Socialist Party, he knew that he could not lead the largest, most democratic, and most modern political party with the democratic spaces of freedom of speech, competition, and promotion.

As soon as Rama became leader of the SP, did he activate the blocking devices for mobile phones? This had not happened to us in the SP even during the most difficult period in opposition, 1992-1997.

Rama, in his first meeting with the SP parliamentary group, sought to impose the rules of military discipline. Rules that violate internal democracy that should not be considered and applied in political parties.

At this moment I publicly stated in the media that; "The SP cannot be a military unit". At the next GPS meeting someone provoked this debate as to "why I had spoken publicly against the president".

I answered him in a clear voice. Rama ordered me to leave the meeting because I had spoken without permission. He repeated the "military order/leave the line/meeting" several times. I continued to remain calm. P

He even threatened me by saying: "Either you leave the meeting, or I will leave". I calmly replied: "I tell you not to leave, but I will not leave, even though I came to the SP before you".

Suddenly, a new Tirana MP jumped in, as his favorite, and said to me: "How can you talk to the mayor like that?" I turned to him in Vlora and said: "It's not your fault that you're protecting him, because he took you from the street and made you an MP without any profile or public contribution."

After my insistence, Rama came out for a few minutes and was pushed aside. After that clash of principles, Rama never asked me to remove him from the meetings again. But he used his primitive wickedness barbarically on more than a few occasions.

Beware Rama is an evil spirit and a primitive avenger. He will never forget anyone who does not submit to him unconditionally. His opponents will be treated as his enemies. 

Rama will haunt you like a murderous shadow, fueled by his DNA full of hatred and primitive heartlessness. Wake up before it's too late.
