The Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, has reacted to the debate between Prime Minister Rama and MP, Elisa Spiropali, following the debates in the SP parliamentary group.
He indicated that there were discussions at the meeting, while adding that this cannot be called a division within the Socialist Party.
Question: Are there divisions in the SP?
Niko Peleshi: If you are referring to rumors, I cannot comment on rumors without political substance. I do not know what a rift means. Of course there are discussions. We had long hours of discussion yesterday and I believe this is healthy. Of course, it cannot be called a rift discussion. We are not a military formation without thoughts and without the spirit of discussion and without internal democracy, but I am offended that you refer to some rumors that have no connection at all with the political substance of the internal developments of a political party. These are rumors without any political context.
