Interior Minister Taulant Balla has approved the order that forces the blue uniforms to declare whether they have used the "SKY" or "Encro Chat" applications, which are also known as applications widely used by members of organized crime.

Employees of the State Police, the Police Surveillance Agency and those of the Guard of the Republic will have to fill out a relevant form, where they self-declare whether or not they have used these applications.

The Self-Declaration form is being distributed to the above structures for completion and will serve as a basis for the initiation of verifications.

Any employee found to have used these applications will be immediately, definitively, dismissed from the State Police, the Police Surveillance Agency, or the Guard of the Republic.

"The Ministry of the Interior is determined to bring to justice those employees of the structures that are related to organized crime and criminal groups," stated Minister Balla.
