The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Kosovo has confirmed that it has accepted the 13 joint agreements between Kosovo and Albania, which Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that he signed today.

"We inform you that today we have received 13 agreements from the Embassy of Albania in Pristina", says the reaction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.

Today, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that he has signed the 13 agreements that should have been signed earlier during the meeting of the governments of the two countries, a meeting that was canceled due to the tensions in the North of Kosovo.

Rama signed the agreements to pave the way for the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who requested the meeting of the two governments as a condition for receiving the head of the Albanian government in Kosovo.

However, although Rama finished his visit to North Macedonia at noon today, as part of the Balkan tour, and will leave for Pristina, it remains unclear if Kurti will withdraw from the decision not to receive him.

Rama's meetings with President Vjosa Osmani and Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca have been confirmed.

The 13 agreements signed and which come into force immediately are in the field of security, trade, art and education.
