While the political debate over the performance of legislators continues, the financial bills they pay to the state budget remain one of the issues of greatest public interest.

The financial statements of the Albanian Parliament reveal detailed figures for expenses for MPs during the month of July 2026.

In addition to a base salary of approximately 2,000 euros per month, legislators also benefit from generous additional packages.

These benefits include up to 400 euros per month for fuel, 170 euros for telephone expenses, as well as significant amounts for domestic travel allowances, housing rent reimbursement, and hotel bills.
