New details have emerged from Prime Minister Edi Rama's meeting with Tirana MPs and Municipality leaders. Sources indicate that the deputy mayors of Tirana Municipality will also be leaving the leadership.
Rama is reported to have said that we need to find other human resources (for deputy mayors) who will take over various sectors to run the municipality until the elections (without giving a deadline), writes A2 CNN.
Sources from the municipality indicate that Rama has also dismissed Anuela Ristan along with all the deputy mayors of the municipality. The same sources indicate that for days now Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has been conducting interviews with the directors of the municipality, requesting only the presence of the general secretary and not Anuela Ristan.
Meanwhile, at the meeting, everyone reported on their areas under their administration. Rama only spoke positively about the IMT and the Municipal Police (not hiding that these also have problems).
