'Resignations of municipal directors', Rama: I was forced to

Prime Minister  Edi Rama  said that the resignations of directors in the country's municipalities were necessary.

He mentioned the case of Vlora, saying that in just a few days of action in the territory, there have been many changes.

And these changes, Rama says, do not come from the additional budget, but simply from increased attention to the city's problems.

Rama : Let's not lump everyone in one bag and not confuse getting to know with getting to know. The resignations of directors from the main municipal structures are a necessity to give another impulse to the municipalities, to shake up the dull mechanisms of some municipalities, and to address problems that are not related to large budgets but with great attention and great dedication. Vlora is a typical case, what a change is happening in a short time, and it is not a change with an additional budget but with additional attention, and where a process has been opened to invite young men and women who want to serve Vlora and apply to be the new leaders of the Vlora municipality. None of those who led for years have to stay there and there are others who think they should have this opportunity, everywhere in all the large municipalities of the country, where there are human resources that are unused. All governments in the history of mankind have been created to do the job and not a red egg, and governments differ in the way they do the job, both the leaders and the managers. Not how many red eggs they make. This is not a matter of bragging,. But discussion, clarification and reflection. Second, I repeat. I was forced to intervene seeing some things that needed a strong push from above. Should they have been done without the need for this intervention, a consolidated democratic society where everyone knows where the limit is. Things do not start from the inspector or controller but from everyone who knows where the limit is. Then the inspector and controller are there to control and ensure that that limit is maintained in function of the majority that respects that limit.
