Erion Braçen or Edi Rama: Who should we believe?

Prime Minister Edi Rama calls the increase in fuel prices in Albania normal.

According to him, this growth is moderate.

But what does socialist MP Erion Braçe say?

He was the first to sound the alarm about the abusive increase in fuel prices, immediately after the war in Iran began.

According to him, the fuel market is a cartel and there are price abuses.

In an interview a few days ago, responding to the Minister of Economy, who claims the opposite, that fuels are not a cartel, Brace stated:

"But how could I not? When the price changes within a day, within the same hour, at all points and it's the same price, how is that? What kind of behavior is this? Coordinated behavior."

But when does coordinated behavior happen? When does it happen? When the market is concentrated and when the market is concentrated, yes, of course. A cartel situation is why they pretend they don't understand.

"If the entire price of hydrocarbons, oil, gas and gasoline in the territory of the Republic of Albania is determined by a company that we call a broker. What logic is there?"

And not without reason.

This is because, directly after the start of the war in Iran, the increase in fuel prices was directly reflected in Albania.

From the first days.

Today, oil has become 40 or 50 lek more expensive than it was before the start of the war in Iran, and if things continue like this, it is predicted that oil will go up to 250 lek per liter.

If Prime Minister Rama then sees moderate growth, that's another matter.

It's not their fault, politicians have paid for the oil and they don't understand the difference when the price increases. ( Vox News )
