Dash Shehi: There are no protests week after week, this is madness! You are

Dashamir Shehi commented on the events organized by the Democratic Party, stating that the protests are being held to extend Berisha's longevity in politics, adding that the latter is certain of victory in the May 23 race. 

In an interview, Shehi stated that the number of protesters has also been decreasing, emphasizing that those who are behind Berisha are only a few PD militants.

"The protests only serve personal leadership. The protests are not doing anything to Edi Rama. People are tired."

"I haven't seen anyone in Europe go out in protest every week. They go out when there is a reason, a big event, this can't be done week after week. The reality is that the numbers on the boulevard are decreasing," said Shehi. 

Regarding the open race to elect the new leader of the Democratic Party, Shehi emphasized that Berisha has a certain victory, adding that anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

Shehi also underlined that the only hope for a different DP lies in some new MPs within this political force who have expressed opposing positions to Berisha.

"Whoever thinks that a president other than Berisha will be elected is among the fools. There will be none and no one will emerge, " the head of the LZHK further added.
