The International Emergency Committee will meet, Balluku in Novosela: Strong
Belinda Balluku

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku is in Novosela, one of the places most affected by the floods.

In a statement to the media, she stated that the Prime Minister will undertake a package that will guarantee compensation for citizens affected by the floods.

Balluku: It is important to say that both prefectures, both of Vlora and Fier, with the citizens of the municipalities engaged in these moments, not only the affected cities, are committed to setting up accommodation and evacuation centers. We have also seen during the earthquake period that residents usually do not want to leave their properties, but life is what is important in these moments. You should be aware that the Prime Minister is currently designing, together with the Ministry of Finance, a package that will guarantee compensation for both the agricultural sector and housing.

Among other things, she announced that the International Emergency Committee will meet on Friday morning to focus on the flooding in the country, calling for measures to be taken before the situation worsens.

Tomorrow morning there will be a meeting of the Intergovernmental Emergency Committee, where the Prime Minister will address not only the resolution of the situation and the overall response to this situation, but also the compensation, which is very important.

Sometimes it is better to take measures even faster than the situation itself, which can worsen.
