Bardhi's strong denunciation: Rama does not dismiss Balluku because they

The Chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, during a press statement today, accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of defying justice by not dismissing Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Belinda Balluku, who has been suspended by the court and is under investigation by SPAK for violations in public tenders.

Bardhi claims that Rama and Balluku are together in what he calls the "190 million euro Llogara tunnel affair", alluding to predetermination of the winning company and illegal communications.

According to Bardhi, Rama is not dismissing Balluku because he is himself involved in corruption and exposed through joint affairs. He describes the prime minister's behavior as anti-democratic and contrary to European standards, citing as an example the case of former Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa, who resigned as soon as he was involved in an investigation.

Bardhi accuses Rama of attacking justice and putting personal interests above the law. He said that the Llogara tunnel issue is only the "tip of the iceberg" of the Rama-Balluku affair, while calling on citizens to join the rally called by the opposition on Monday in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

STATEMENT OF GAZMENT BARDHIT:

Today, when Albania should be a country that learns from Europe and the best values of the West, our country is taking steps backward with democracy and the rule of law.

Even after the Court's decision to suspend Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku, the Prime Minister did not rise to the level of a European prime minister and dismiss the SPAK defendant.
There is a reason why Edi Rama cannot do this: Belinda Balkuku has brought him to his knees and is blackmailing him with joint affairs of abuse of power.

So today we have some very big bad news.

Instead of protecting the interests of Albanians, the country's prime minister is officially the lawyer of a defendant accused of public tender abuses.

Why does Edi Rama not have the power to dismiss Belinda Balluku, but instead challenges justice, challenges Albanians, and despises the fundamental principles of Western democratic countries?

There is only one answer: He is in charge of every major corruption affair in the country. Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku are together in the Llogara Tunnel affair.

The winning company for the Llogara tunnel was not determined or predetermined by Belinda Balluku, but by Edi Rama and Belidna Balluku. And just as Belinda's messages are on Ervis Berber's phone about implementing an illegal order from her boss, so are Edi Rama's messages on Belinda Balluku's phone.

This is a photo dated June 3, 2021, exactly three months before the competition for the Llogara tunnel opened, which clearly establishes that Edi Rama has come out and predetermined, together with his Belinda, the winning company for the Llogara tunnel, giving it 50 million more than the offer during the first canceled competition.

This is not common in any European country, for the prime minister and his deputy to pose with predetermined companies before opening the competition, violating free competition, but above all, violating the EU values that are defined as such in the Stabilization and Association Agreement.

No one should think that Edi Rama feels sorry for Belinda Balluku. Her fate has already been determined, but he is not firing her because he is taking time to defend himself.

Is there a more anti-democratic reflex than not dismissing a defendant, not resigning as an accomplice in this corrupt affair, about which the courts, and not the opposition, say that with her functions as deputy prime minister or prime minister, she influences the predetermination of the winning companies or the tender documents under investigation?!

This is what makes it unacceptable, dear Albanians, in any EU country, for the prime minister to become the lawyer of the highest government official after him, after he is considered a defendant by justice.

And I assure you that the predetermined tender for the Llogara tunnel with 190 million euros is just the tip of the iceberg for the joint Rama-Balluku affairs.

The problem of Albania and Albanians today is not that they have a deputy prime minister suspended from office by court decision for violating equality in tenders.

The problem is that they have a corrupt prime minister who does not dismiss his closest collaborator and confidant, the defendant, because she is complicit in his corrupt dealings.

This is a truth that has not been repeated in any country in Europe.

A few days ago, I brought you a very European and very fresh case that did not happen in Albania, but which shows a double standard in Albania in relation to the European Union. In Europe, politicians are held accountable.

In Portugal, former Prime Minister António Costa resigned as soon as he was implicated in a corruption investigation, without even waiting for charges, so as not to harm the dignity of the state. Today, he is President of the European Council.

Meanwhile, in Albania, Edi Rama does not dismiss his deputy prime minister, who is accused of corruption, but appears as Belinda Balluku's lawyer and attacks judges and prosecutors, declaring himself above the law.

What Edi Rama did today is actually his message to declare himself independent, so he said; it is a brutal intervention of the judiciary, in the executive branch, so Edi Rama thinks that the executive branch is independent of the obligation to implement the law.
This is a difference between European morality and the government corruption led by Edi Rama.

Edi Rama's decision not to dismiss Belinda Balluku is the price that Albanians are paying for a prime minister who has been out of control since October 31. Today, Edi Rama confirmed with voice and image that he is a puppet of Belinda Balluku. Defendant by SPAK, so far for two tenders, which together amount to 210 million euros.

This, yes! It has never happened anywhere in Europe!

Because in Europe, governments are elected to govern and serve citizens by free vote, not by the money of corruption, organized crime, and drug cartels.

Therefore, dear Albanians, it is up to you, it is up to us, all of us together, to stand up against this corrupt system that Edi Rama has built over these 12 years, and my invitation is for us to all come together on Monday's podium at 6:00 PM in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
