Tirana Police have launched investigations and have proceeded to release Agron Shehaj and other members of the Opportunity Party .

Agron Shehaj, Frida Mavriqi, Barbara Doda and two other members of this political force have been prosecuted by the police, accused of organizing illegal gatherings and demonstrations.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Commissariat No. 1 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated in the absence of citizens A. Sh, F. M, B. D, D. D, N. M and K. Xh, after yesterday afternoon they organized illegal gatherings and demonstrations," the announcement states.

Yesterday, the Opportunity Party organized a protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, apparently without obtaining permission from the police.
