While the Laws Committee was discussing the approval of the 2026 budget, there was a debate among the Socialists.
The chairman of this parliamentary committee, Ulsi Manja, clashed with the MP for Fier, Zegjine Çaushi , after the co-chairman of this committee, Oerd Bylykbashi, became the cause.
Manja proposed a 20-minute break, so that Bylykbashi could also be present at this meeting, while Çaushi declared that the opposition representative should not be waited on.
This angered Manja, who said that there is a hierarchy in the parliamentary group and that Çaushi should get used to it.
Debate:
Manja: For the draft law on investigative committees, I will propose a 20-minute break, since the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Oerd Bylykashi, has requested to be present during its review to take a position on behalf of the DP parliamentary group.
Zegjine Çaushi: Why should we wait?
Manja: Zegjine, the parliamentary group has a hierarchy. So you can get used to this kind of hierarchy because it is a request that was agreed upon yesterday. It is a law that will also have to have their position. We will meet in 20 minutes.
