The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, in a communication to the media regarding the progress of the electoral process, said that no problems have been reported.
Electronic identification is being applied in all Voting Centers and there are no problems.
"81% opened at 07:00, only 19% of the centers opened around 07:00 and 08:00 in the morning. 34% of the commissions are composed of 7 members, 18% with 6 members, 29% with 5 members. Only in 3 VCs at the opening of the voting process, there was a lack of quorum, but the presence of a quorum was enabled and the voting process has started. Up to the moment we are speaking, no problems have been reported regarding the voting process, we have no reported problems regarding the use of electronic identification devices, 100% of VCs are with an operator. We do not have real-time broadcast from 18 VCs, but in the meantime we are receiving information in an alternative way. As for participation, it is 2.42%", said Celibashi.
Celibashi said that the counting process will be broadcast in real time, due to the small number of CEAZs.
"For 9 CEAZs, there will be live footage of the vote counting site," said Celibashi.
