The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after his exclusion from the plenary session, accusing the majority of having previously constructed a scenario to avoid debates in the Assembly.
"The scenario of excluding the opposition from the session was built long before Niko Klouni came out to announce it in the session. Wrongly, Taulant Balla, instead of writing to the SP Group, writes to the Conference of Speakers Group in the Assembly and orders all the leaders of his institutions to take care to bring the SP MPs to the hall," Bardhi declared to journalists.
He emphasized that the majority seeks to avoid any debate about the reports of justice institutions and corruption cases.
"They want the reports of justice institutions to pass without debate, without questions and without accountability. They wanted to set a new standard that has never happened, for institutions to come and report and MPs not to have the right to ask questions. That's why I reacted, and I will always react," he said.
Bardhi described his expulsion as an attempt to silence the opposition: "They don't want a debate about the money they stole like a criminal gang with incinerators and they want to turn the Parliament into a mute. Let them forget that they can subjugate me and violate the rules. Let the world know that this is the Parliament of Albania, which aims to enter the EU."
