SPAK's request for the removal of immunity and the arrest of Arben Ahmetaj will go to the parliament in the plenary session on Monday.

At the end of the meeting of the Council of Mandates, the socialists and the democrats have agreed to give the authorization to SPAK, although the democrats have requested that something like this happen in the next day's session.

At the end of the meeting, deputy Ervin Salianji said that in the SPAK file for Ahmatej there are also names of other high officials.

 "Our opinion was that SPAK's request should be passed in the session tomorrow. Request that was opposed by the socialists. We will continue tomorrow as well, we are dealing with the case when the person is not in Albania. This case has revealed the great corruption of the government where dozens of high officials, mayors are involved in corruption. Edi Rama and the government must resign. We have deputies, mayors and former mayors who are involved. I can say that much because of the investigative secrecy", declared Salianji.

The MP Gazmend Bardhi was more specific, who did not hesitate to mention the names suspected of being involved in corruption.

"Some of the names have already been made public, some of the names have been reported by us, in this affair the former minister Damian Gjiknuri, Ermonela Felaj is mentioned, there is information about two former mayors, Fadil Nasufi and Baftjar Zeqo. Why are issues being singled out by SPAK? They acted like a criminal group, whose head is Edi Rama", said Bardhi.

Deputy Bardhi said that he will use a last chance so that SPAK's request enters the parliament tomorrow, asking for the change of the agenda in the morning.

"As we learned, the Council decided by an almost unanimous vote to recommend to the plenary session the fulfillment of the prosecution's request for the removal of immunity, arrest and control in the apartment of Arben Ahmetaj. What we differed on was the day when the report should be considered. Our request was to be reviewed tomorrow, while it has been decided to be reviewed on Monday. "Tomorrow morning, I will file a request to change the agenda, so that the prosecutor's office can open the way immediately," said MP Bardhi.
