Discussions continue at the meeting of the Council of Mandates, regarding the removal of the immunity of former minister Arben Ahmetaj, whom SPAK wants to arrest.

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, addressed several questions to Ahmetaj's defense lawyers. According to Bardhi, there is no reason to postpone the session since the former minister left the country on the day the arrest was requested.

Bardhi also asked the lawyers Henrik Ligori and Ardian Visha if they know that Damian Gjiknuri was also on the flights with the incinerator businessmen.

"If your client had been present, cooperated and faced justice, we could have been sympathetic to more time for defense. But your client fled the country on the day his arrest was sought.
