Diplomat and analyst Plator Nesturi has been appointed prefect of the Vlora District.
He replaces Vangjel Tavon in this post, who a few months ago took over the leadership of the Municipality of Himara.
Nesturi has been ambassador to Spain, and has often appeared in the media as an analyst. The decision to appoint him was made today at a meeting of the Council of Ministers.

APPOINTMENT OF THE PREFECT OF THE DISTRICT OF VLORA
In accordance with Articles 100 and 114 of the Constitution and Article 5 of Law No. 107/2016, “On the District Prefect”, as amended, upon the proposal of the Minister of Interior, the Council of Ministers
DECIDED:
Plator Nesturi is appointed prefect of the Vlora District.
This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
