Chronicle journalist Ervin Leka has brought new details from the serious incident in Vidhisht, Roskovec, where the couple Kosta and Belere Plaku were killed by their former groom.
According to the journalist, the investigative group suspects that everything started with a phone call from 35-year-old Refit Buzi, while he said that the girl witnessed the moment when her parents were shot and then taken hostage by her ex-partner.
"The girl saw everything, both parents being shot by the person she was engaged to," he said.
According to communications with the Fier Police and the RENEA negotiating group, the journalist said that the young woman was in an extreme condition, as she was allegedly raped both inside her parents' apartment and on the way to the mountainous area where she was held for about seven hours.
"There were injuries to his face and legs, but he will also undergo other examinations."
"Along the way, he was extremely violent and aggressive, despite asking to join him," said Ervin Leka.
The journalist also said that during negotiations with RENEA, the author also mentioned allegations about financial matters, claiming that he had sent sums of money to his family while he was in the UK.
"The issue of money is just an allegation and certainly cannot justify the pursuit, the violence, the hostage-taking, or the most tragic act, the murder of her parents."
"The main problem was the girl's father, who opposed it from the very beginning, after he had shown signs of aggression. The conflict with the family continued because they were against this relationship," the journalist said.
Leka emphasized that Refit Buzi was a person previously reported for violence and that there had been references to the police against him. He said that the investigative group is also verifying his past, including the period when he lived in Great Britain, where he is suspected of involvement in illegal activities.
