She says that such attacks are not only personal, but reflect a lack of empathy and broader culture:

"It touches me deeply even to this day, when a few ignorant grains, mostly women, shadows who feed on karma on social networks, continue the refrain that was planted by these so-called VIPs."

Egla explains that she has never played the role of the victim, but it is important to protect the dignity of the individual:

"I never played the role of the victim, not because I wasn't hurt, but because in the face of unbridled evil, accepting the hurt would be the greatest gift to that person."
