The G7 leaders sang the birthday song to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz a few moments before the start of the meetings on the second day of the summit.
It was the American president Joe Biden who gathered everyone to sing to the chancellor "many congratulations to you".
"It's a tradition of the Biden family, you have to sing a lot of congratulations on your birthday," said the head of the White House.
Leaders including Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joined the song.
And the German chancellor seemed very happy.

At midnight yesterday, Scholz, who was accompanied to Italy by his wife Britta Ernst, celebrated his birthday with his team and a cake.
The week did not start well for the German chancellor - as the June 9 European Parliament elections - marked his party's worst result - in more than a century.
Together with its two coalition partners, the SPD secured less than a third of the vote in "a humiliating result" that raises questions about the future of Scholz's government.
After the G7 conference, the chancellor will travel to Switzerland for the peace summit in Ukraine.
Scholz will then return to Berlin, where he will face discussions about the 2025 federal budget.
