The number of multimillionaires in Hong Kong has decreased by 15 percent in 2021 compared to a year ago, reports AA.

In 2020 there were 515,000 of them with net assets of more than $ 10 million.

Last year, that number dropped to 434,000. In a city of about 7.6 million people, every 13 people is a multimillionaire.

Josephine Lee, head of commercial banking at Citibank Hong Kong, said that as the number of multimillionaires increased and decreased, the assets of multimillionaires are constantly increasing.

In Hong Kong, which is one of the most important shopping centers in Asia and the world, per capita income reached about 49 thousand dollars in 2021.
