"I set everything on fire", the chilling story of Elfrida, the

The new season of the entertainment show "She's on Top" has just started. The contestants have confessed a bit of their personal lives. Among them is Elfrida, the girl who made a chilling confession about what happened to her when she was 9 years old.

She says that she threw gasoline on the stove after it was turned off, and her whole body caught fire. After going to Tirana for treatment by ambulance, she spent 4 months in intensive care and the doctors risked amputating her hand due to bone burns. She tearfully tells that she has destroyed everything her parents had built and has remained a hostage. It also shows that due to the marks on the body, until now, he had complexes and never wore short clothes, as he did not like the looks he received from other people.

"I remembered that it was my sister, that I had a two-year-old sister, I remembered that she stayed inside. I am Elfrida, 18 years old, from Bajram Curri. At the age of 9 in 2016 in December I had an accident which was neither fatal nor a good thing for me. My brother and I together with my two cousins were at home, we were watching TV and in December we put on the stove. The fire was out and to keep the place from getting cold, I took a bottle of gasoline and put it in the stove. He penetrated directly into the wall and grabbed me back on the back.

I felt the heat and ran outside. My very clothes have been stripped from the fire. I was stressed because the house was burning and I had my brother inside, and it's not like I had my own problem. I had neither mom nor dad. I have never shown it because I have not been able to show it. They treated me a little and immediately sent me to Tirana by ambulance and I spent 4 months in intensive care. I had a lot of burns on my hand, apart from the bone, they said that they had to cut off my hand.

After a week, the brother and sister came, I saw them there at the hospital. She was two years old and she understood everything, even the two-year-old child clings to mom and dad, she never clings to him, she said she will stay with Ida and since Ida is sick, I will go to my aunt. I felt guilty that I destroyed everything that mom and dad had created, the distance between them, we were all scattered, mom and dad with me. From that moment on, I didn't wear short clothes anymore. I have never gone out in public with shorts because people's eyes bothered me a lot, people looked at me like a sin.

The guilt is still felt now because of the damage I caused to the family, but I hope to pay it back one day, that's why I came here. This year I graduated and I believe I will wear a short dress, with short sleeves, because I have had complexes even from going out in public since the first time. Everyone has signs or problems, everyone has challenges in life and you have to overcome it, said 18-year-old Eflida.
