Roza Lati has recounted the difficult period of her childhood, when her father used violence against her and then died of a serious head tumor.
As she says, it all happened when she was 5 years old and she asked her father for 50 Lek for chewing gum after she saw her friends buying it.
"When I first asked him for 50 Lek for chewing gum, he beat me, because my father was violent. He died of a head tumor and this is the reason for his violence. I remember when the first chewing gum came out, I was 5 years old, he was at his work and I came to see my friends who had bought chewing gum, some of them had stickers on their hands and he beat me because I asked him for 50 Lek of chewing gum. It was his aggressiveness that was slipping away, because my father passed away from a head tumor. Growing up like me now this girl here, I hardly ask for money, I hardly beg because I was raised this way and I find it traumatic. And mom knows this. Rita has covered all my things without asking at all" , she says.
