Johnny Depp told in detail in the courtroom the quarrel he had with Amber Heard in March 2015, which ended with the cutting of the famous actor's finger.
The 58-year-old, who was in Australia at the time for the filming of "Pirates of the Caribbean", recalls that his ex-wife was angry about the fact that she had met lawyers for a post-marriage agreement.
"I wanted to calm him down and tell him that I could not throw him away. It did not calm down and the situation escalated into madness, chaos and violence. It was like being occupied. I wanted to get away from the conflict, but she kept hurting me badly. We were in a big house in Australia and I was locked in 9 rooms that day because the quarrel went on all day. She slammed the door, wanting physical confrontation.
"One moment, when he left the door, I went out and went to the bar. I took a bottle of vodka and drank a few glasses, the first time I drank alcohol in many years. When he saw me, he started shouting at me why I started drinking again. He grabbed the vodka bottle and threw it at me. It passed very close to my head. I stood still and filled another glass from another bottle. He also took that bottle and threw it at me. I crouched behind the grass, but the bottle caught in my hand. At first I did not feel any pain at all, but like heat. When I saw the hand, the tip of my finger had slipped away and I was looking only at the bone. "I lost her there and I remember writing with the blood of my finger on the walls all the lies she had told me," said Depp.
Johnny Depp has sued his ex-wife for defamation, following allegations of domestic violence, seeking $ 50 million in damages for damaging his image.
