Music star Beyonce has announced her first tour in nearly seven years. The World Tour will kick off in Stockholm on May 10 and will then have concerts across the European continent until the end of June.

The tour will then resume again in Toronto during the month of July and will conclude in New Orleans in September.

Fans of the "music diva" will still have to wait for the tickets, as they, as reported by the British newspaper Daily Mail, have not yet gone on sale.

Beyonce released the album "Renaissance" in July last year, which is the seventh in a row in the singer's career. She has won nine nominations for the "Grammy" awards with this album.

The world tour comes after Beyonce returned to the stage with a huge performance in Dubai last month, marking her first concert in four years.

The music icon performed some of her hits at the opening of the new Atlantis The Royal luxury hotel in Dubai, which managed to attract a host of international stars.
