1. Relax your face
Wrinkled eyebrows, clenched teeth and a drooping head can be signs of a lack of self-confidence. The next time you're anxious but don't want to show it, pay attention to your face: take a deep breath and try to relax your facial expression. Light breathing is a signal that the person needs to calm the nerves and also a transmission of anxiety.
2. Stand Upright
This is obvious. Typically, individuals who lack self-confidence will sit slouched, with their shoulders hunched forward. Unconsciously we sit crooked to look smaller and invisible. To convince others that you are comfortable with yourself, stand up straight and make sure your hands are down. The reason why the hands should be down is to give a sign of obedience.
It's a given that good posture communicates confidence to others and is the first thing you tell about a person, and you know that such a person can make you feel good. When you sit and stand straight, more oxygen will pass to the brain, which will make you feel healthy, energetic and rid of toxins. So it's a 2x win.
3. Smile
Never underestimate the power of a smile. Smiling communicates confidence and makes you more attractive. Seeing someone smile causes a chemical reaction that reduces stress and increases the amount of "feel good" transmitters in the brain.. It's contagious and others can smile back at you, so you get some positive effects.
4. Tilt your head
In a more intimate setting, for example in a meeting where you want to convey confidence, but at the same time be attractive, maintain eye contact, lean back while you are talking and tilt your head to your left arm, which makes you more attractive. Turning your head to the right shows self-confidence. It is something to remember for the next interview as well.
5. Give invisible cues
At the end of the day, the invisible cues will be just as strong as the visible ones. Perfume is one of the main attraction factors, and it can also make you feel more confident.
