The shocking moment of the confession of a father from Florida, USA, who shot and killed his son during a fight, was recorded by a camera, shortly before the arrest of the 52-year-old.

In the video first released by Local News 10, 52-year-old David Contreras is seen talking to his wife and telling her their son is dead. According to the New York Post, Contreras killed his 22-year-old son, Eric, at the family's Miami home.

"He's not breathing. He's dead," the 52-year-old is heard telling his wife moments after he fatally shot the young man on November 3.

"The fight on the way home was unbearable," Contreras said, recounting some of the things her son said to her that angered her before he killed her.

When officers arrived at the family's home, they found Eric, a Florida International University student on the floor and confirmed he was dead. The young man had come to celebrate his birthday with his family.

Contreras was arrested and appeared in court on November 27, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge of second-degree murder.

He is in jail until his next court hearing on March 11.
