Ukraine and Russia do not stop even on the day of the summit, the bombings

The Ukrainian military says it has struck a Russian port in the Astrakhan region.

The attack took place on Thursday in the south of the country where a ship carrying drone parts and ammunition sent from Iran was said to have been hit.

Russia uses the port as an important logistics hub for supplying military goods, the Ukrainian military said in a statement released this morning.

Overnight, a gas station in the Sumy region, in northeastern Ukraine, was hit by a Russian attack.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, in eastern Ukraine, a Russian drone was shot down and Nikopol, in the southeast of the country, was repeatedly targeted, according to local officials.

Russia's nighttime attacks are a regular feature of the war.
