A 10-year-old girl tragically dies after being attacked by the family dog

A 10-year-old girl has died after being attacked by the family dog ​​at her home in Yorkshire, local police have confirmed. The incident happened in the Malton area on Friday.

Despite the efforts of a passerby who provided first aid and then white shirts, the minor breathed his last after receiving serious injuries.

According to the police report, the dog was left by a family member after the attack, and then it was sent to an animal shelter, where it is at the moment.

A police spokesman said authorities are providing psychological support to the family while investigations continue.

Police asked the public to refrain from speculating about the incident, out of respect for the family's need for privacy.
