The seventh attempt to constitute the Kosovo Assembly is made, LVV does not withdraw from Haxhiu

The elected members of the Kosovo Parliament will gather today for the seventh session to constitute the legislature resulting from the February 9 parliamentary elections, KosovaPress reports.

The continuation of the session from 10:00 was scheduled by Chairman Avni Dehari for the sixth continuation of the session for the formation of the new composition of the legislature.

In the sixth continuation of the constitutive session, on April 25, the Vetëvendosje Movement failed to secure the votes to elect Albulena Haxhiu as the new Speaker of the Assembly.

LVV has emphasized that the blockade of the Assembly cannot go on indefinitely, citing the legal deadlines that stipulate that the Assembly must be constituted 30 days after the certification of the results. Precisely, this 30-day deadline is today, April 27, after the CEC certified the election results on March 27.
