There is no turning back now. To respond to NATO's weapons, Moscow has President Vladimir Putin's secret super weapon called 'Skyfall' ready. Military experts say Skyfall would be the first nuclear-powered missile. An accident in 2019 caused the first missile test to fail.

Western weapons experts believe that the "Russian Tsar" is preparing a new attempt, which represents a nuclear threat to the USA.

At this difficult time for the Kursk offensive, the Kremlin may be looking for a new image, bolstering its credibility with the display of a virtually unprecedented weapon: a nuclear-powered missile, Italian media outlet La Reppublica cites.

The missile would stay in flight for an unlimited time before being thrown at the target, reports "La Repubblica".

The program resumed in the greatest secrecy and in October 2023 the Kremlin announced the "successful" conclusion of a "Burevestnik" test, but there were no findings of any kind.

It is clear that such an expensive instrument has a strategic purpose: to threaten the United States with nuclear retaliation.

The project has been in the works for years and is called Stormbird, although NATO has given it the name "Skyfall", the same as the saga of the "James Bond" films, classifying it as a super weapon that no one has.

According to the Russian press, the missile has a speed of 900 kilometers per hour. In recent days, Western satellites have photographed intense activity in the mountain range located in an archipelago near the Arctic.
