'Is it black or Indian?', Trump sparks outrage, mocks Harris' racial identity, White House reacts

"For many years I believed that Kamala Harris was Indian because she only talked about her Indian origins. At some point she became black." Donald Trump said this in an interview with the National Association of Black Journalists, causing an indignant reaction from the public.

After Trump's statements, which questioned the origin of her race, Kamala Harris also reacted, saying that Americans deserve better than Donald Trump.

"Same show from Trump, we deserve better. Americans deserve better. Our fight is for the future and for freedom. We heard from Trump this afternoon and it's still the same old show of division and disrespect.
